Sigma Microalgae is a whole-cell pasteruized liquid product containing algal-based solids from microalgae. Sigma Microalgae provides microbe food o the soil and fuels significant increases in beneficial soil microbial populations. Suitable for a wide range of crops, including turfgrass, it integrates seamlessly with your existing fertilizer program.

Application Rates
Treatment Applications
Rate: Mix at a rate of 1 pint to 1 gallon of water per acre per applicaiton in a minimum of 5 gallons of finished solution.
Turfgrass: Mix at a rate of 64-128 oz (2-4 32oz units) per acre per application
Timing: Soil or bare root applied at planting followed by subsequent applications at intervals of 2-4 weeks as needed for soil conditioning, and overal improved plant vigor and maximized crop potential.
Sigma Microalgae needs to be mixed or agitated to ensure full suspension of product prior to measuring and adding the product to the applicaiton mix. Supply tanks and spray tanks should have agitation. In outdoor applications, it is recommeded to apply in early morning or late afternoon when temperatures will stay below 85°F (30°C). Compatibility: DO NOT combine with fungicide, insecticide or chemical fertilizer. Add surfactants after the product has completely dissolved in the tank. If interaction of chemicals is unknown, a “jar” compatibility test is recommended. Precautions: DO NOT use chemical fungicide for at lest 6 to 7 days before or after application of Sigma Microalgae.
